We’re doing it again!!
Audiopollination Guelph is a grassroots music and arts event featuring ad hoc ensembles performing freely improvised creative music, running since May 2022. All ages, skill levels, backgrounds, and artistic disciplines are welcome, including visual artists, dancers & poets, breaking down barriers that are often present in improvisational spaces. The event has been an essential community space for improvisers, musicians and lovers of the weird since our first show, and we don’t want it to end anytime soon!
That’s why from August 8th-9th, Audiopollination Guelph is hosting our fourth fundraiser, the Audiopollination 24 Hour Improvisational Marathon! Last year we were able to raise nearly $2500 for the show and if we raise $3000 this time we will be able to continue running the show bi-monthly, paying for Silence, sound technicians, host and making sure that artists who perform are compensated.
The Improvisation Marathon will be a 24-hour continuous improvisation from August 8th-9th, 12pm to 12pm at Silence, featuring rotating musicians in an ever changing lineups throughout the day and night! It’s charity marathon of improvised music! Learn more about performing and sign up here!
